"It looks AMAZING! You did such a GREAT JOB and it's just what I had envisioned! Than you so much!" - Owner of Uptown Salons

How One Salon Suite Company Generated 81 Leasing Inquiries in Year One

A salon suite company was running four separate websites, one for each location. The bigger problem was that most visitors thought Uptown was a salon, so the calls and form submissions coming in were people asking about haircut prices instead of stylists asking about space.

Here's what we changed, and what happened.

Client Snapshot

Uptown Salons | commercial leasing, Greater Houston, TX Website consolidation · Branding · SEO · Lead capture First year post-launch: August 2025 to August 2026

Locally owned since 1999, Uptown leases luxury private suites to independent beauty professionals across four Houston-area locations. Their customer isn't a walk-in. It's a licensed professional making a business decision, researching hard before making contact.

The Challenge

Nobody understood what Uptown did. Most visitors assumed it was a salon. Calls and form submissions were people asking about appointments, not stylists looking to lease. Every one was a dead end.

The directory didn't work. An outdated stacked list made finding an individual professional difficult on desktop and nearly impossible on mobile, where most visitors were. Tenants weren't getting found by their own clients.

Four separate websites. Four hosting bills, four places to update anything, and four domains splitting the brand's search authority, with inconsistent branding across all of them.

The Solution

Made the offer unmistakable. The homepage now opens with "Luxury Suites for Independent Beauty Professionals." Nobody gets more than a few seconds in without knowing Uptown leases suites rather than books appointments. That one change redirected inquiries from consumers to stylists.

Rebuilt how visitors find professionals. Location, then service, then suite number, built identically across all four location pages, mobile-first. Pick Woodlands, choose Nails, find the professional.

Consolidated four sites into one. Creekside, Woodlands, Spring, and Royal Oaks on a single domain and CMS. One place to update. Search authority consolidated instead of four thin sites competing with each other.

One brand, four front doors. Each location keeps its own address, hours, phone, and social links, inside a single consistent identity. Uptown reads as one established company, not four loosely related ones.

Built to be found. Keywords, meta structure, and location pages built to rank in each Houston-area market, plus a dedicated Suite Leasing page for professionals ready to inquire.

The Results

The inquiries changed, not just the count. Before, contact forms were consumers asking about appointments. Now they're licensed professionals asking about available suites.

The Takeaway

This generalizes well past salon suites. If your website doesn't make your business model obvious within a few seconds, you'll still get inquiries. They'll just be the wrong ones, and your staff will spend their time answering questions for a business you're not in.

If you're not sure what your site is telling people, that's a 30-minute conversation.
